A relaxing walk in the area of the second castle district in Prague bonded with many legends about the beginning of the first ruling dynasty of kingdom of Bohemia. During the walk you will see St.Martins Rotunda, St. Peter and Paul Church, St. Lawrence Basilica, then the Gothic Cellar with Vysehrad history exposition, casemates and the subterranean Gorlice hall, which is now home to several original Baroque statues from the Charles Bridge. You will also visit a well-known national cemetery where many prominent Czech personalities are buried (f.e. composers Antonin Dvorak, Bedrich Smetana, painter Alfons Mucha, writer Karel Capek, and many others). There is also a great view on the river Vltava and its bridges.
Public transportation and walking on flat surfaces smooth and cobblestones.
Duration: 3 hours. Not available on Tuesdays and Fridays. In winter time only on weekends.
