Tour Details

Cesky Krumlov is the most fascinating Czech town after Prague, it is a beautiful medieval town. The main sights are the Renaissance castle, once the seat of the powerful Lords of the Rožmberks and the Schwarzenbergs and the second-largest castle in Bohemia, the castle’s unique Baroque theatre and the castle gardens. The castle houses a rich collection of period furniture, Flamish tapestries and historical weapons. Also it is possible to visit the local Eggenberg brewery – upon request.

Walking on flat surfaces – smooth and cobblestones, and uphill.


  • Tour I - The 1st Guided Tour of Český Krumlov Castle concentrates on the original Castle interiors from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The tour includes among others Saint George´s Castle Chapel, Eggengerg Hall with the golden carriage and Masquerade Hall. - adults 300 CZK. (55 minutes).
  • Tour II- The entire 2nd Guided Tour in Český Krumlov Castle focuses on the history of the Schwarzenberg family. It includes the visit to the Schwarzenberg Portrait Gallery displaying portraits of the members of the family from their primal father Erkinger up to the beginning of the 20th century and it ends in the corridors of the Cloak Bridge. - adults 260 CZK. (55 minutes).
  • Castle Theatre - Baroque Theatre of Český Krumlov Castle represents the advanced Baroque stage. The theatre ranks among the most preserved Baroque theatres in the world the original theatre fund of which contains preserved theatre building, auditorium, orchestra pit, stage, stage technology,machinery,coulisses, librettos, costumes etc. Baroque Theatre is also thanks to the delicate reconstruction complexly preserved unique historical sight. - adults 360 CZK - must be booked ahead, reservations 10% additional charge. (45 minutes).
